Doug Lwin, CCP, CBP, GRP, MBA
Doug has more than 25 years’ experience successfully helping Fortune 100 and 200 companies navigate the challenges of compensation management from philosophy development of programs, salary structures, market pricing to administration of annual compensation cycles. Pay equity analysis is a topic he has presented at many organizations and consulted with several companies. His past experiences include positions as Corporate VP of Global Compensation at AECOM, Broad-Based Corporate Compensation Director at Lockheed Martin, VP of Total Rewards at American Capital and FBR, and Compensation Director at FINRA (formerly NASD).
Doug is a founding partner at Lwin, Ellis & Associates where they help organizations align their compensation practices to their organizational goals and culture. He is the current President of Washington Area Total Rewards Association (WATRA), Compensation Committee Member for the DC SHRM Compensation Survey and has served on the DC SHRM Board for several years where he oversaw the annual Compensation Survey and started the Benefits Survey.
With more than 30 years experience in HR Technology and HR Operations, Dave has supported every functional area of Human Resources. He began his career at Marriott in payroll and soon transitioned to HRIS. He was a Systems Analyst and Consultant for Ceridian and has worked form many well-known D.C.-based employers including the Charles E. Smith Companies, Sprint-Nextel and Intelsat. As the Vice President of Compensation and HRIS for American Capital, Dave took a greater interest in compensation management technologies, or what he calls “comp tech”. As a founding partner at LwinEllis+, Dave leads the development and management of our PayInsight™ market analysis services.
Dave has a B.S. in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland
